The jeep tour around the Tijuca Forest is an amazing adventure that can not be missed by anyone that comes to Rio. It includes a visit to Vista Chinesa, a hike to Pedra Bonita and a visit to the Hang Gliding ramp inside the forest.
Tijuca has more than 3000 species of plants, 120 species of birds, and other interesting mammals such as the cappuccin monkeys, sloaths, raccoons and many other animals. The hike to the summit of Pedra Bonita is considered easy to moderate, and has an amazing view of the forest, the sea, the imposing Pedra da Gávea in front, São Conrado neighborhood and Barra da Tijuca.
